One star rating is more than generous. Will NEVER visit this location EVER again. Had NO issues with my vehicle upon arrival, they changed my oil and when I left my car was jerking and making all kinds of noise. I went back only to deal with extremely rude management who were completely unknowledgable about what to do, manger was CALLING HIS FRIENDS for advice and never resolved anything. I had to find a mechanic after hours because its late evening and I have an hour drive home. I asked the asst manager if it was safe to drive to which he responded with "well I would assume" . That is unacceptable. Their resolution was a 2nd oil change which solved nothing. So I was sent out of there with 2 oil changes, high blood pressure and my engine light on with a vehicle running terrible, cost me $135 and not knowing if ill make it to the mechanic I just called. I drive a 328i BMW, they knocked a turbo hose loose but were to uneducated to figure it out. This essentially could have caused serious damage to engine. And I'm not going to address that the oil cap was not tightened all the way and the sloppy mess they left under the hood. If I could rate this -100000/100 I would. I will b

I don’t leave reviews often, but my last oil change a couple months ago, I stopped by this location. Two of the employees were arguing over which bay they wanted me to go to, because neither one of them wanted to deal with me. That already made me irritated because they are there for providing a service. So eventually, after going Back-and-forth, I went to the bay that they decided on. An Illinois State Police officer pulled in About 10 minutes after I had been waiting and He went to the bay that I was moved from. That bay Opened up and they let him go right in, even though I had been there for quite a while and they had moved me from there. I get that he’s a state trooper But that is not the way Valvoline has ever treated me. I was really upset by the way I was treated and dismissed so I pulled out and went to the Jefferson location and let them know what happened. They treated me amazing and told me that that is not policy to allow another car that came 10 minutes after me to pull in to be serviced before me, even if he was a state trooper. It was very rude to act like I was a nuisance by pulling in wanting an oil change and arguing in front of my car over who was going to have

Went for an oil change and the guy tested my battery and never told me anything was wrong. Well he tells me to start my car, and when I do it will not start. He then proceeds to tell me your battery is bad. I never had any problems with my battery or my car starting before this. He test my battery again after the fact my car didn’t start, and then says “oh your battery is bad you need a new battery.” I said didn’t you just test it he says “yes, but it was not in the red zone and not great either, so I didn’t say anything to you about it.” I ask how much for a battery he says $236, I say I will go somewhere else and he got upset that I did not buy a battery. There was nothing wrong with my battery. My car has been running just fine even had it tested somewhere else. I believe they unplugged my battery trying to get me to buy a new one. Will not go to this location again.

The guys were friendly and efficient. Everyone was professional. The actual facility is clean and clearly well-managed. I was particularly excited to see that one of the staff members was female. There truly needs to be more female representation in auto mechanics, and I appreciated seeing her there. Thanks you.

Jayden was amazing! So professional! I will be returning because of his polite and respectful nature. I got the full synthetic oil change, and had a $25 off coupon so it was around $85. They took time to explain my car to me and were super nice! Come to this one!
